Staff and Student awareness-raising sessions are an effective tool to give those involved in The Peer Support Program some insight into their roles and responsibilities regarding the implementation, the reasons behind why the school is running the Program and the benefits the Program can have for the school community.
Education Consultants are available to conduct these awareness-raising talks to schools in the Sydney Metropolitan area. Schools situated interstate or in rural areas can now access these talks via Skype. The Year 6 Peer Leaders of St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Kilaben Bay recently had a Peer Leader’s Awareness-raising session delivered via Skype. The students enjoyed the experience and the student talk covered topics including their upcoming Peer Leader training, the roles and responsibilities of a Peer Leader and ‘What is authentic leadership?’.
If you are interested in having an Education Consultant deliver a Skype Talk to your staff and/or students, please get in touch, firstname.lastname@example.org or (02) 9905 3499.
