Education Consultants from Peer Support Australia regularly visit Member schools to provide support to teachers implementing The Peer Support Program. We also love to see the Program in action and observe the responses and engagement of students.
An important part of our visit is to chat to teachers about their experiences of implementation – to find out what’s working well, and importantly, what can be improved.
We understand that every school is different and that many different factors can influence how the Program’s eight peer led sessions are implemented. As our Member schools know, we advocate a Best Practice approach, but understand that in reality, this might need to be “tweaked” to fit with individual school – and student – needs.
By sharing this information, we hope to give you ideas about how you might implement The Peer Support Support in your school.
