Peer Support Australia is committed to helping schools develop safe and positive learning environments.
To help achieve this through peer led education, Peer Support Australia offers a one day Implementation Workshop for primary and secondary teachers at various central locations.

workshop details
The workshop provides an opportunity to investigate and develop an effective strategy, enabling young people to increasingly:
- take responsibility for their own wellbeing
- deal positively, proactively and resiliently with their life experiences
- be actively involved in and supported by their community
The workshop includes:
- investigating a whole school approach to building and enhancing a positive school culture
- highlighting the key underpinnings and benefits of the program
- learning how to implement and coordinate an effective and integrated Peer Support Program using a model of best practice
- identifying links to curriculum, policy and other educational initiatives
- developing an action plan that will assist in the implementation of the Peer Support Program in your school context
- experiencing some of the student leadership training to support you to confidently train Peer leaders
- current leadership training notes
- networking and sharing ideas with others
Support materials will be provided on registration
