EDUCATIONAL MODULES
We recommend that one 8 session module is completed each year, over the course of a single school term. Choose from the following:

Keeping Friends: Relationships
This 8 session module supports young people to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to maintain friendships and interact with one another in a friendly and positive way. Keeping Friends is based on the premise friendship skills can be learned in a mutually supportive environment.

Living Positively: Optimism
This 8 session module focuses on optimism and develops the skills and knowledge for students to approach life with a positive attitude, use their strengths, engage in enjoyable activities and show gratitude to others. Students will be given opportunities to identify their personal strengths and how they may take advantage of these strengths in order to feel happier and more fulfilled. The important strengths focused on throughout the module are curiosity, kindness and teamwork.

Moving Forward: Resilience
This 8 session module supports students with the capacity to adapt and develop protective factors necessary to help them approach situations with confidence and enthusiasm. Moving Forward encourages students to think about and practise a range of resilient responses in a collaborative and inclusive environment.

Promoting Harmony: Values
This 8 session module supports students to develop the skills, knowledge and attitudes necessary to actively and critically construct shared values. Promoting Harmony provides students with opportunities to explore values in the context of their school community. This module assists students in defining individual and community values, building relationships and improving decision making skills. A key element of Promoting Harmony is encouraging students to identify and accept differences amongst people and demonstrate care for others. Please note: this module is due to be updated in 2018

NEW MODULE- Stronger Together: Anti-Bullying
This 8 session module that combines the best elements of traditional and contemporary approaches to bullying reduction in schools. Victims of bullying, students who bully, and bystanders are all given the skills they need to reduce harmful behaviours. The module draws on positive psychology principles such as fostering strengths, gratitude and kindness in students. In this way, preventative measures are combined with the skills students need to combat bullying if it does occur. By utilising the powerful peer led format, the students create their own environment in which to thrive.

EDUCATIONAL MODULES
We recommend that one 8 session module is completed each year, over the course of a single school term. Choose from the following:

Behaving with Integrity: Values
This 8 session module supports students to develop the skills, knowledge and attitudes necessary to actively and critically construct shared values. Behaving with Integrity provides students with opportunities to explore values in the context of their individual school communities. This module assists students in defining individual and community values, building relationships and improving decision making skills. Students will also learn to clarify their values and identify the qualities they admire in others. They will be encouraged to recognize that their values guide their interactions with others. Implementing Behaving with Integrity assists in creating a harmonious school community that espouses a set of values by which to live. Students, teachers and parents will develop a shared vision of the environment in which they want students to learn and participate.

Rethinking Challenges: Resilience
This 8 session module encourages students to view challenges as opportunities to push the limitations they put on themselves and be open to new possibilities. It allows students to identify their strengths, achievements and support networks. These factors serve to protect students and assist them in developing a strong sense of self. Students are encouraged not to feel limited by what is identified at a single point in time. They can choose to feel empowered by this information to persevere, achieve and learn. The module has a strong focus on the influence our thoughts have on the way we view certain experiences. Sometimes the thoughts, feelings and outcomes associated with a past experience can colour the way we continue to view them. Students can choose to adopt ‘Open’ or ‘Limiting’ thoughts.

NEW MODULE- Strengthening Our Connections: Anti-Bullying
This 8 session module has been developed to empower young people to take responsibility for their relationships and interactions. It adopts a strengths based approach to reducing harmful behaviours and increasing strategies to strengthen and repair relationships.
